This brand-new single-family residence needed a little urban greenery against the alley backdrop. Ecogardens came in to design and install a garage-top green roof, which provides a stunning visual contrast to the surrounding brick structures.
The garage roof is fully visible from the house and almost at eye level as you walk out the back terrace. The roof is composed entirely of perennials and grasses, with some succulents as a base planting.
All of the products we chose met stringent requirements for resilience and sustainability, including smart irrigation systems and locally sourced granite pavers.
