Recognizing a chance to prove their commitment to the environment, Lake Forest High School decided to install green roofs on two new building additions. Neither roof, however, was able to support great weight, especially during rain. Our solution to this challenge was to design an extremely light-weight green roof with one of our thinnest profiles. After a successful installation, the rooftop project came in well under the dead-load limitations. |
